Planned Parenthood clinics across the country are contributing to the abuse of young girls.
The Mona Lisa Project videos document Planned Parenthood's willingness to repeatedly violate mandatory reporting laws for statutory rape that protect children.
Our series of hidden camera investigations, collected by a team led by Lila Rose in summer 2008, provide the public the inside story about the abortion industry and its abuses across the nation. Despite a consistent pattern of lawlessness and abuse, Planned Parenthood receives over $320 million from taxpayers each year. The tax-exempt "nonprofit" netted $100 million in net income last year including revenue of over $100 million directly from performing 289,000 abortions.
We hope that our project will lead to criminal prosecution of Planned Parenthood so that their business practices will be forced to comply with governing laws that protect young girls. Visit our Action Page to help in this effort.
TRACK RECORD Planned Parenthood's Pattern of Abuse
2002 Life Dynamics conducts a nationwide study of over 800 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation clinics, finding 91% of America's abortion providers are willing to cover up the statutory rape of minor girls. Sex with a minor is a crime in all 50 states.
March 2007 Live Action president Lila Rose goes undercover in two Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles clinics, posing as a 15-year old girl impregnated by her 23-year old boyfriend. Clinic workers encourage Rose to lie about her age so the sexual abuse will not be reported, and play on her fears during counseling sessions to try to sell her an abortion. —
More than 80,000 cases of sexual abuse of minors are reported in the United States every year. Most data show the majority of births to teenage mothers are fathered by much older men. Even Guttmacher reports that nearly 8,000 girls age 14 or younger submit to abortion every year.
The sexual abuse and exploitation of minors can only be stopped when perpetrators are held accountable, but again and again, organizations such as Planned Parenthood turn a blind eye to their legal reporting duties. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood continues to receive over $300 million a year in government grants and continues to provide and promote abortion to any client, no questions asked.
